61st Kerala Piravi i.e., 1 November 2017 was indeed a special day for all of us at YAS (Yet Another Security). A guild of young & energetic cybersecurity enthusiasts founded YAS as a non-profit community with the ultimate desire to build a stronger coterie around information security in Kerala.
Our motto is to impart knowledge through practical experiences, in a more community-focused environment. 3 years down the lane on 1 November 2020 our first security conference YASCON 2020 was held. A highly successful one-of-a-kind virtual Cybersecurity conference completely free and accessible to everyone across the globe. The event was streamed live across multiple platforms and attendance count hit upward of six thousand viewership.
Industry experts and speakers from across the world engaged in fireside chats on important topics on security. The CTF (Capture the Flag) event was the highlight of this conference; it gave a chance to all cybersecurity enthusiasts to showcase their Infosec skills. Cash prizes and swags were rewarded to the winners and best participants.
YASCON 2020 was a great learning experience for all professionals in the cyber industry and to the budding talents who wish would pursue a career in cyber arena. Following the steps to enhance the reach of cyber security worldwide, we are bringing the ultimate conference experience YASCON 2021 on November this year! Conferences, Workshops, Technical Talks, CTFs and cyber events will be hosted virtually and free.
Pre-conference workshops and CTF will be held on November 27th.
The LIVE conference event will be streamed worldwide on November 28th across social media platforms.
We are looking forward for bringing a world class event open for all.
